darker color than the cuvee (opposite to the 1997s), more extraction, firmer backbone of acid/tannin, nose mimmics a fine Pommard. Cellar until 2008.

Fine, earthy, balanced. Complex aromatics, high alcohol (14.2 %) integrates nicely. drink now or cellar 5-7 years.

A blend of three vineyards spanning from Mt. Madonna to saratoga, gives nuance and depth. Medium bodied, long finish. 15% merlot. Acessable wine now, or for near term cellaring.

Named after the Southwestern French Department which contains Bordeaux. This wine contains Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Rich, round, smokey, plenty of mountain fruit stuffing. Drink now until 2015

Smoky, Rich, extracted with some of that nice white pepper character. Not lightweight.
